THE supreme attribute of God has been relegated to a lesser place in favour of more user-friendly and seeker-sensitive attributes and by doing so that presents a false picture of the One True God – as a former Pastor of mine once said ‘when a half truth is proclaimed as the whole truth it becomes a lie’ and when divine attributes such as love and mercy are proclaimed to the virtual exclusion of God’s HOLINESS then the whole counsel of God is not being declared.
