WWIII IS RAGING – HAS ANYBODY NOTICED?

During the 20th century two World Wars were fought and no one on planet earth was left in any doubt as to their awful reality. It was hoped that they would be ‘the wars to end all wars’ but numerous ‘local’ conflicts [Korea, Vietnam etc] have proved the futility of that ‘pipe-dream’.

What appears to be totally missed in this present 21st century day and age is that a third [WWIII] world war has been ongoing for some time but those politicians charged with the responsibility of protecting the lives of the citizens of ‘the free world’ appear to have totally misread the reality of who and what it is that is seeking to destroy their democratic and, for the most part, their Judeo-Christian way of life.

In the article ‘Tony Blair and The Koran’ that was included in our December 2006 ‘News From The front’ ministry newsletter I quoted former Muslim Ibn Warraq who wrote ‘Mankind is divided into two groups, Muslims and non-Muslims. The Muslims are…the umma who possess territories in Dar al-Islam, the Land of Islam where the edicts of Islam [Sharia Law] are fully promulgated. The non-Muslims are the Harbi, people of the Dar al-Harb, the Land of Warfare, any country belonging to the infidels that has not been subdued by Islam but that, nonetheless, is destined to pass into Islamic jurisdiction, either by conversion or by war (Harb). All acts of war are permitted in the Dar al-Harb’.

In recent years, ‘acts of war’ perpetrated by Muslims against non-Muslims in what they, the Muslims, regard as the areas of the world that constitute ‘Dar al-Harb’ have occurred with regular and vicious ferocity. Western political leaders have laid the blame for these atrocities at the feet of those whom they believe are misguided, even ‘heretical’ Muslims who do not represent the true teachings of Islam. In making such statements, these politicians are showing themselves to every bit as duped by Islam as was Neville Chamberlain by Adolf Hitler just prior to the outbreak of WWII.

In recent days two articles have come to my attention and I want to reproduce extracts from them that will I believe validate the reality that Islam is engaged in WWIII and is making great strides thanks to the ‘blindness’ of the leaders of those that they are determined to conquer and to subjugate.

The first article that came to my attention was headed as follows -

The Jihad: We're All in This Together
By Don Feder

Don Feder delivered the following speech to the Americans for A Safe
Israel National Conference (“America And Israel – The Present Danger”) held in New York City on

 December 3, 2006. – The Editors.

The following are the extracts that I want to bring to your attention

You have a problem. It’s a problem shared by Jews in Hebron, Serbs in Kosovo, Hindus in the Kashmir, Catholics in Lebanon, and Americans walking the streets of New York.

Consider the inter-connectedness of the following incidents, all of which took place in the past few months:

In Indonesia, three Christian schoolgirls were beheaded. [Comments by Cecil – In the British Church Newspaper of 8 December, in a report on the trial of “three Muslim extremists on trial for beheading three Christian teenage girls on their way to school” one of the defendants called Hasanuddin “admitted planning the murders as a GIFT to celebrate Idul Fitri, a festival marking the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan”] In Iraq, a Syrian Orthodox priest was kidnapped, tortured, and murdered. In Somalia, a nun was shot to death as she left the hospital where she worked, tending the sick and dying.  In Lebanon, just days ago, a cabinet minister was assassinated. In Britain, authorities uncovered a conspiracy in which native-born Brits plotted to blow up several trans-Atlantic flights, killing as many as 3,000.  In Afghanistan, suicide bombers are at work again.  In Iraq, they never stopped. Additionally, the week before last, a group of worshippers were abducted from a mosque, doused with gasoline and burned to death in what’s described as “sectarian violence.” In France, a high school philosophy teacher is in hiding after very credible death threats following publication of a September 19th commentary in Le Figaro. Some 139 people died in riots in Nigeria, Libya, Pakistan, and Afghanistan – following the publication of Danish cartoons. Europe is experiencing the worst wave of anti-Semitic violence since Kristallnacht. The former director of the U.S. Holocaust Museum reports there an average of 12 assaults a day on Jews in Paris.  In Kosovo, 90 percent of Serbs have been ethnically cleansed from the province since 1999. The rest live in a state of siege. In Mumbai, India, a series of blasts killed almost 200. In Gaza, terrorists recently celebrated the latest “ceasefire” by raining more rockets on southern Israel. And the leader of more than a billion Catholics received death threats and demands that he convert after giving a speech in which he called for a balance of faith and reason, and quoted a 14th century Byzantine emperor. [Comments by Cecil – in addition to these atrocities, the following could also  be added – 3000+ murdered in New York on 9/11; 202 tourists murdered in Bali; 333 schoolchildren and teachers murdered in Beslan; 292 murdered in attacks upon US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania; 241 US and 58 French peacekeepers murdered in Beirut; 191 civilians in Madrid and 52 civilians in London murdered; Countless thousands being murdered in Darfur;  - sourc,e a US Marine’s assessment contained in an email circulatedby ‘ztruth’ on 21/9/2006].

What do the foregoing have in common?

To quote columnist Mark Steyn, in his excellent book America Alone: The End of The World As We Know It, it begins with an “I” and ends with a “slam.”

I am not saying that all Muslims are terrorists. I am saying that almost all terrorists are Muslims …and that Islam is a faith that is, shall we say, terrorism-friendly. I challenge you to name another faith in which your entry into Heaven is assured by killing those of another faith in a holy war.

I am not saying that Muslims are inherently bad people. Most Muslims are like most people everywhere. I am saying that there are elements in Islam that incline adherents to commit the crimes detailed a moment ago.

I am saying – and let me be clear about this – that a faith embraced by as many as 1.3 billion people worldwide contains within it the seeds of the evil we see all around us – seeds which require only the right conditions to germinate. It all goes back to the Koran.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are in the midst of a world war, one every bit as deadly as the Cold War, and with a potential for devastation to rival World War II. Actually, the Cold War is a bad analogy. For perhaps the 20 years before the fall of the Berlin Wall, almost no one was willing to die for Communism. Today, ten of millions – perhaps hundreds of millions – around the world would gladly die, and kill, for Dar Islam.

But we make a fatal mistake if we think of Islam only in terms of suicide bombings, sniper attacks, death threats, forced conversions, female genital mutilation, honour killings, jihad-this and fatwah-that.

Every bit as important is what’s going on in maternity wards from Brussels to Bombay.

Of the 10 nations with the lowest birth-rates, nine are in post-Christian Europe. And the ten countries with the highest fertility rates? That’s right – starts with an “I” and ends in a “slam.”

Fertility rates in the Muslim world look like this: Niger (7.46 children per woman), Mali (7.42), Somalia (6.76), Afghanistan (6.69), and Yemen (6.58). The Palestinian woman in Gaza who – at age 64 – just became the world’s oldest suicide bomber was the mother of nine and (at last count) the grandmother of 41.

Between 1970 and 2000, while the share of the world’s population represented by the industrialized nations declined from just under 30 percent to just over 20 percent, the share accounted for by the…world of jihad rose from 15 percent to 20 percent…

According to a November 21st Washington Times story, by 2015, more than half the soldiers in the Russian Army will be Muslims. And you thought the Czar was bad! By 2020, over 20 percent of Russia’s population will be reading the Koran, religiously.

Within the lifetimes of some in this room, the UK, France Belgium, and the Netherlands could go Islamic green. For the present, Muslims comprise 10 percent of the French population. But of “Frenchmen” under 20, fully 30 percent share the faith of Osama bin Laden, …Assad of Syria], and Iran’s…leader.

You can talk all you want about population control being the happy result of higher standards of living, careers for women, sex education, contraception and access to abortion. In fact, it’s becoming the assisted suicide of the West. What it really comes boils to is this: Confident societies have babies. People with a sense of mission have children. Nations with a sense of destiny and faith in the future fill maternity wards, and nurseries and cradles. Those that believe in God as a vague, philosophical concept (if He exists at all), don’t.

Everyone is so focused on their own thing that they miss the larger picture… In retrospect, it’s easy to see that a number of events in the 1930s were steps leading to the Second World War: Hitler’s rise to power, the remilitarisation of the Rhineland, the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, German and Italian intervention in the Spanish Civil War, the Japanese conquest of Manchuria, and so on. It’s always easier to see the interconnectedness of events and the significance of trends in retrospect – well after the fact. But at least after Pearl Harbour, most Americans understood that they were at war. It’s been five years since this generation’s Pearl Harbour [New York on 9/11], and most of us still don’t have a clue.

When word of Pearl Harbour reached London, Winston Churchill called Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The conversation ended with the British prime minister telling the American president: “Well, we are all in this together now.” As indeed they were; as they probably had been since the early 1930s, though almost no one was aware of it at the time.

Well, my friends, we truly are all in this together…
Until we begin to understand that, we have no hope of countering the global jihad.

For me, one of the most crucial points that Don Feder brought out was when he referred to ‘Nations with a sense of destiny’. I think it is fair to say that irrespective of which ‘Nations’ Muslims reside in they see themselves first and foremost as being Muslims before then going on to claim any particular National identity. As Muslims they are ‘confident’ and as Muslims they have ‘faith’ – they outwardly manifest ‘a sense of destiny’.

Bearing these points in mind I want to quote some extracts from the second report that came to my attention. It was headed as follows –

Religion of Peace?

By Jamie Glazov
FrontPageMagazine.com |
December 6, 2006

http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=25854

Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Gregory Davis, the managing director of Quixotic Media and producer of the feature documentary Islam: What the West Needs to Know. He received his Ph.D. in political science from Stanford University. He is the author of the new book Religion of Peace? Islam's War Against the World.

FrontPage: What motivated you to write this book? [‘Religion of peace? Islam’s war against the world’]

Davis: The book is a direct result of the documentary [The DVD – ‘Islam: What the West Needs to Know’]and seeks to expand on the latter's material. My old friend, Bryan Daly, and I had the opportunity to make a small movie and we wanted to tackle something that no one else had, something of social import that was poorly understood. The facile way in which politicians, commentators, and academics dismiss Islam as a 'religion of peace' indicated to us that there was more that needed to be said on the topic. The Muslim terrorists claim to be doing the will of Allah, while Western leaders insist that Islam is peaceful. The obvious question was: who is right? There is no ‘a priori’ justification [one based on deductions or hypotheses rather than on facts and knowledge] to assume that peaceful Muslims represent authentic Islam while violent Muslims do not.

FrontPage: How would you interpret the West's illusions about Islam?

Davis: The West is guilty of the ages-old error of projection, of imposing its own ideas, beliefs, and aspirations onto the other guy. When Westerners approach Islam, they imagine that it is a religion like others that they are familiar with - like, say, Christianity.  They see Islam as basically another item on the religious menu available in an integrated world. What they fail to understand, however, is that Islam is decidedly outside the Western tradition and therefore Western assumptions are inapt when assessing it.

In Islam: What the West Needs to Know, we talk with Robert Spencer, Walid Shoebat, Bat Ye'or, Serge Trifkovic, and Abdullah Al-Araby, who all affirm that the most important aspect of Islam not understood in the West is that Islam is less a personal faith than a social and political plan for organizing humanity - really, a system of government.

It was only in the West that religious power developed in parallel with secular power but distinct from it thanks largely to the doctrinal distinction in Christianity between giving 'to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God's what is God's.' While religious and secular power have certainly commingled at times in the West, it is fully possible for the two to coexist separately. But in Islam, there has never been a distinction between religion and political power; the two are inseparably united. An Islamic society is invariably a theocracy ruled by Sharia (Islamic) law, which is understood as God's prescribed legal code for all mankind, based on the commandments of the Koran and the precedents set by Muhammad.

There can be no question of the type of government in Islam because Islam is a government, which Allah through Muhammad has ordained to comprehend the entire earth. Once the political nature of Islam and its universal pretensions are grasped, it is not hard to see why Muslims and Muslim societies are so hostile toward the rest of the world.

FrontPage: The Islamisation of Europe is occurring at a lightning speed. What do you make of it?

Davis: It is truly astonishing that a civilization as organized and materially powerful as Europe today is voluntarily going to its death. The Europeans could certainly forestall the Islamisation of their continent, but so far they have shown no stomach for it. Already portions of Europe's metropolitan areas are de facto Islamic states ruled by Sharia law - the London Telegraph mentioned this the other day with remarkable equanimity.

The Parisian police have admitted that they are in the early stages of a civil war. The negative growth rates of the native Caucasian populations mean that Europe is committing generational suicide while its Muslim populations continue to grow very rapidly. While Muslims in Europe are still poorly organized and outside the conventional halls of power, they nonetheless posses something invaluable that Europe does not: faith.  Europe has lost its faith and with it the will for self-preservation. The Europeans who fought to defend Europe through the centuries during the major waves of jihad knew what they were fighting for. They had faith in their God and in the inherent legitimacy of their civilization. Their successors today are freely throwing away what their forebears gave their lives to preserve. It is a tragedy on a civilisational scale and should be a cautionary tale for those of us in North America.

Front Page: So is there any possibility of building democracy in the Islamic world?

Davis: In a word, no… Democracy implies some sort of pluralism, which is the very antithesis of a Sharia state. Installing genuine democracy would first require a program of de-Islamisation, which would be simply impossible In Islam, there can be no freedom of religion, freedom of speech, equality of the sexes, or anything that transgresses the highly specific dictates of Sharia law While there are nominal Muslims who would prefer Western democracy to Islamic Sharia - such as those who fled the Iranian Revolution in 1979 - they are being false to their faith,

FrontPage : What do you think the U.S. [Cecil’s comment – and the rest of the ‘free’ world] needs to do in this terror war in general…?

Davis: The 'war on terror' is misnamed.  Terrorism is a tactic, not a goal.  It would have been absurd to have declared war against 'sneak attacks' after Pearl Harbour but this is essentially what we have done. It is the goal of Islamic terrorism that we need to understand, and this requires an understanding of Islam itself.  Islam and its faithful adherents are trying to undermine our secular governments with the ultimate aim of replacing them with Sharia.

Terrorism is a means to this end as are Islamic proselytising, fund-raising, lobbying, education, etc. As during the Cold War, we are under attack from a hostile political ideology that does not operate in the same moral universe as we do. Broadly speaking, we need to develop a program of containment that will operate on all levels of government policy… Every Western mainstream statesman, academic, or commentator who opens his mouth on Islam bends over backwards to affirm its peacefulness. Even Western religious leaders, who really ought to know better, continue to demonstrate a depressing lack of understanding and penchant for appeasement,

I believe that the best way to help nominal Muslims who value peacefulness over Islam is to get them to confront the violent nature of their faith and to reject it. In Islam: What the West Needs to Know, we interview a prominent former Muslim and terrorist who left, and there are many other cases so it is possible… the unhappy fact is that as long as a Muslim affirms that 'There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet', he is open to the call of jihad even if he never heeds it.

FrontPage: Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the war and conflict we face?

Davis:…In short, I am not optimistic.  For the West to win, it will have to rediscover the reasons for winning, the reasons that the West and its heritage are worth preserving.  Sadly, there seems to be no one today of public eminence capable or willing to articulate the merits of Western Civilization, which would be the first stage in mounting a defence.

By way of an example of how ‘the West’ is failing to properly respond to Islamic violence, Robert Spencer, in his book ‘The Truth about Muhammad’ commented as follows on the furore that followed the publication of cartoons in a Danish newspaper – Spencer wrote [p15-16] ‘The free world should have stood resolutely with Denmark, ready to defend freedom of expression. But it did not…Against Islamic intolerance and violence, the West should have promoted its own Judeo-Christian heritage, with its emphasis on the dignity of the human person, from which Western freedoms of speech and conscience flow. But it did not’.

For me, the crucial phrase in what Gregory Davis had to say during his interview was this…The Europeans who fought to defend Europe through the centuries during the major waves of jihad knew what they were fighting for. They had faith in their God

As genuine Reformation Christianity has crumbled in ‘the West’ and people have turned back to false systems like Roman Catholicism, or have started to worship new ‘gods’ like education or sport, so they have left themselves wide open to ‘take-over’ by those united by Islamic missionary zeal. Even these false ‘gods’ of education and sport are not immune from Islamic targeting.  Gregory Davis mentioned that ‘terrorism’ was not only the only means being used to advance the Islamic jihadic agenda and we see evidence of this I believe in the following recent developments in the fields of education and sport.

Harvard receives $20M gift for

Islamic Studies Program

Harvard University Monday (12 December 2005) announced the creation of a University-wide program on Islamic studies, made possible by a $20 million gift from Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud. The new program will build on Harvard's strong commitment to the study of the religious traditions of the world. It will also augment Harvard's existing strength by increasing the number of faculty focused on Islamic studies, providing additional support to graduate students, and making rare Islamic textual sources available in digital format.

‘Drop by drop’ Islam is ‘economically’ increasing its influence in areas that were previously viewed as ‘bastions’ of everything that typified Western culture and identity. Let me end this section by quoting again what Gregory Davis said - Terrorism is a means to this end [He identified ‘this end’ as – “Islam and its faithful adherents are trying to undermine our secular governments with the ultimate aim of replacing them with Shari'a law"] as are Islamic proselytising, fund-raising, lobbying, education, etc

Unlike Islam that seeks to promote and extend the ‘Kingdom of Allah’ by various ‘carnal’ methods including of course ‘the sword’, Christians do not use ‘carnal’ weapons as Paul stated in 2 Corinthians 10:4. The Lord Himself rebuked Peter for using a ‘sword’ in His defence and said “Put up again thy sword into its place, for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels” [Matthew 26:52-53].

In an old black and white movie called ‘Pimpernel Smith’ that I watched just recently, the unlikely hero, Professor Horatio Smith, played by Leslie Howard, was confronted by his archenemy, a leading Nazi figure. This Nazi arrogantly said to Smith – ‘Violence means power and power crushes opposition’. That seemed to me to summarise very succinctly the philosophy of those Muslims who are currently waging war on the rest of what they view as the ‘unbelieving’ world.

When it comes to ‘spiritual warfare’ Christians look to “the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God” [Ephesians 6:17]. The Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation as these extracts from the testimony of M Saleem evidences -

But in all I had been going through, I became happier when I came to know the Holy Bible… Never did I find a single verse in the Bible saying that God lies or that He changes His verses and leads people astray… The prophecies made in the Bible are being fulfilled in our very day. These are some of the most amazing things and confirm who is the author of this book. The very creator of this world knows what is going to happen tomorrow and the coming days. He does not predict it like a psychic but knows it!… The Bible also says Jesus Christ did miracles and did many other things which no one except God can do… We know from the Bible that we are sinners and away from the Lord. Jesus Christ is the only provision for us to reconcile us with the Lord, because He was sinless and became sin for our sake. Our sins were transferred to Him… I do not believe heaven is a place with a price tag on it, which can be bought by our deeds, but only through God's Mercy and grace.

In closing let me also say that democratically elected Western governments have a divinely ordained responsibility to be “a terror” to the lawless [see Romans 13:3]. They will only be able to start doing that when they fully awake to the reality of the WWIII that is being waged against them by Islam.

Several centuries ago the Government of the United Kingdom awoke to the dangers posed by Roman Catholicism and through legislation took measures to limit the possible influence of that totalitarian system.

Rev David Samuel in his book ‘Pope or Gospel’ wrote [p73] ‘The Roman Catholic Church also considers it right to rule in the temporal affairs of the world since the Church’s hierarchy represent the kingly rule of Christ on earth…Thus wherever a Roman Catholic layman is placed, at any level of society, he must see it as his duty to extend the influence and authority of the Roman Catholic priests, bishops and ultimately of course the Pope’. Mr Samuel further wrote [p77] ‘a Roman Catholic king or queen could not and would not govern in the interests of a Protestant church and nation, because their allegiance and submission has already been given to a power outside the nation, to a power which was fundamentally incompatible with the principles upon which both the church and nation rested’.

The same, if not greater dangers are posed today by the totalitarian system that is Islam and just as legislation was used by governments in times past to limit the threats posed to their democratic freedoms, so likewise they need, through legislation, to act today.

I close with these extracts from an article entitled

Making Islam Illegal: Is It The West's Only Choice?

World/Warner Todd Huston

February 27, 2006 - When President Bush gave his "axis of evil" speech he went out of his way to make the world understand that it isn't a war with Islam itself that we were joining -- and I say joining - because the war had been started by the Jihadists decades before. And, in observance to our Western principles, that must be the correct way to view our conflagration with radical Islam.

Let's face facts, it certainly is uncomfortable to a Westerner who has been brought up on tolerance, freedom of religion, and liberty to contemplate a war against an entire religion. But are we approaching a time when Western nations won't have a choice but to target Islam itself in certain ways to keep their own people safe. The best course of action is to make public displays of Islam and certain of its practices illegal in Western nations.

So, the question becomes are we at that time now? Are we fast approaching a time when Mosques will be closed and banned? Have we come to a time when Islamic literature is turned away from our borders?…It is looking like yes is the answer to these queries…The sooner we awake to this truth and take steps to ban the religion, or somehow curtail its pernicious influence the better…This is no religious purge as in centuries past…No religion is replacing Islam and no one is suggesting that Muslims be mistreated. But the creed to which they hold is fast becoming the most dangerous one in the world today. It is a fine line that we walk to consider banning Islam, but the safety of society is at risk not to do so…if we continue to turn a blind eye to the danger that Islam presents to the west, we are signing our own death warrants…Islam is a danger to the world. Unfortunately, it is just that simple.
